This is the only robot I kept from my young age. I created
this robot when I was 16 for a science fair. Its purpose was to find an
object by using 2 infrared sensors and triangulating the object position,
then picking up the object. I have never completed the sensor portion of
the robot in time so it never made it to the science fair. The robot is
aluminum base with "Fisher-Price power wheels" as the drive motors. The
arm has 4 DOF with 3 fingers that move. The Control board is a PC-XT with
a relay card that drives the motors. Unfortunately this is what is left
from the robot since 1992.
